Hatching Cavern

The entrance to the cavern is on the wall of the cliffs, half concealed by the waterfall. The entrance is far large enough for a dragon to fly through all the way to the hatching sands, but does narrow as it slopes down into the ground. There is a wooden pathway that has been recently reconstructed that allows for a straight shot to the hatching ground without having to weave through the rocks and stream that trickles down the tunnel. The stream feeds a little pool near the sands, of which the sands used to be a hot spring that was filled in.

The Cavern opens up to a huge underground cavern. It is a humid environment, and the sands are a mixture of black and white sands, all carried in by wher from nearby beaches. There are perches for dragons and other natural formed platforms up and away from the sands for spectators to participate in hatchings. There is also a little cutout room in the stone, accessible by stairs, near the sands where the goldrider can stay when there are eggs on the sands. The large cavern is lit up by large fire pits when there are eggs, but also has natural glowing moss that grows in the humid environment.
